Stupid Japanese Proficiency Exams

Sun Oct 14, 2007, 10:19 AM
Finally new journal. It’s been 2 years since my last journal entry. My laziness got the better of me.

My life now revolves around job search and studying for the Japanese Proficiency Exam, which I unwittingly applied for and now deeply regret. Took a look at the vocab list for the level one test today at Joe’s Japanese Proficiency Exam Page ([link]) and realized that my Japanese teacher must have been drunk on madness to think that me taking this exam is a good idea. Now. I must memorize like 50 vocabs a day for the next 50 days to get through the list.

I tried out for the level two test last December, and it wasn’t that bad…except that this dude sitting beside me finished a good half hour before finishing time, and I wanted to pull my hair out with all the pressure of the clock ticking and the fact that I can’t go to the washroom for fear of being shot by the examiner with the evil eyes.

Anyway. I must start my job hunt now in between rewatching old Gilmore Girl episodes and thinking to myself why Jess(milo) is so pretty.

I love you art! The settings and background, especially the ones on the streets or in the rain, are so serene and reflective. Rarely have I seen artists who draws anime style in traditional paint and watercolors, it's very cool! Been a fan of your work since...hmmm six years now, since I was 12. Haha.

Look forward to more works from you!

Interesting work.
I'm recruiting a team for a new hobbyist project. Small ORPG game, and your style fits what I'm looking for, so if you'd be interested, feel free to drop me a note.
