Artist's Comments

Cyan's a major character in my manga, "Tainted Red". He's the main character's best friend. He's always smiling, even when he is angry; hence, it's very hard to tell when he is really thinking unless you know him very well. Though he appears friendly and opened on the outside, he doesn't trust easy. But when he does trust you, he becomes very loyal. He places the people around him into 3 categories: his friends(a very small group), his enemies(people who he needs to get rid of), or people who he couldn't care less about.

i like this one alot. the coloring is so nice. it gives a good feel to the picture. and those eyes are soo striking.

wow... i love this character already! :D it's a very hip design, the clothing and everything. Any particular reason why he has a bandage over his eye? Well, whatever, it suits his look. Again, great job dude. It's an excellent pic and character.

First off, I love the name Cyan. I had a character called Cian once. I love using colour words (especially not so common colour words) for character names. What really strikes me here are the little details -- the earrings, the highlights in the hair and his bracelets. I also like the coat design. :D
