I've been flipping through my old discs today to find my resume file...I never label my discs properly, so it's really a pain in the ass to find stuff.
I stumbled across some old, horrifying art I drew dated back to grade 9. I rarely flip through my old art because I'll just end up being very embarassed at how bad I was.
This picture is drawn when I was in grade 11 or 12.. I can't remember. But I still like the character design.
I don't draw black and white line art very often anymore.. kinda miss it. All the ink I bought in high school has been sitting in my drawers for a few years.
I remember a while ago when I said I needed inspiration, and someone mentioned that I should go back and look at my old art. At first, I was like "what the hell?? why?". But today, I really felt that looking at my old art has helped me, because I can see where I have improved or where I haven't improved over the years. And it gives me a better idea on what I need to work on.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
