" It was in the great hall of Erei where we witnessed the first sparks of the war.
It was distant and unreal. We felt like observers in an event that was detached from our own reality.

Looking back, we had no idea at the time how much this war will change our lives"

YES!!! I'm finally done with this pic!! It took forever. The file ended up to be 50mb with more than 12 layers(I usually never use more than 4~5 layers). :heart:

These are my original characters, Skye and Cyan. They're watching the scene through a window. :floating:

I used a number of Cloud brushes in Photoshop to create the effect of the sky. As for the water, I sorta cheated by using a ocean texture(and setting it to multiply). ^_^ I experimented with the colours.. I ended up with more than 3 versions of this pic, but I like this one the best.

This is great, I too love how you positioned them. They seem to stand out a little unnaturally against the sunset outside, but maybe that's just because they're inside behind a window ^^ beautiful work!

This is wonderful 0.0 I love how the background is positioned with the characters being seperated by the circles on the window (yet they still interact with the bg by looking at it).
The style this is in is awesome, and I also like the tone and the character designs!
