0____0!!!!!!! The dollfie that I bought from Japan should be arriving anyday now I am SO excited that I've been jumping to the phone everytime it rings hoping that it'll be the delivery man.^_^
I finally started making the body for my handmade dollfie. It's really hard to get the joints right.
No arms yet. But I'm getting there>_<. takes so long.
I also made some dollfie sized food
My summer school got off to a bad start.
I decided to take a beginners photo class in my school. But, it turns out that almost every student in the class already have previous photography experience, while I don't even know how to put film into my camera. I feel so embarassed....*_*
Just out of curiosity, do photo teachers tend to be partial to manual cameras? My teacher says that using digital camera's is like "going to the dark side" or something like that.
Anyway, after I got out of class, I realized that my car has been towed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT!!! That's 85 bucks down the drain!!!!!!It sucks that my school is on Granville Island; it's the second most visted tourist attraction in Vancouver(the first being the Vancouver Airport). We've get a sh!tload of tourists all year round, and they hog all the parking spaces!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid Japanese Proficiency Exams
Finally new journal. Its been 2 years since my last journal entry. My laziness got the better of me.
My life now revolves around job search and studying for the Japanese Proficiency Exam, which I unwittingly applied for and now deeply regret. Took a look at the vocab list for the level one test today at Joes Japanese Proficiency Exam Page (http://www.thbz.org/kanjimots/jlpt-voc-1.utf) and realized that my Japanese teacher must have been drunk on madness to think that me taking this exam is a good idea. Now. I must memorize like 50 vocabs a day for the next 50 days to get through the list.
I tried out for the level two test last
My grandma passed away today~T__T
My grandma passed away today... I knew that she has been ill for many years and that she probably didn't have much time left, but when it does happen, I was still quite shakened up. My mother visted her 2 days ago, and she was still alive and well...but now she's suddenly gone... We didn't get along very well, but I was still sad because my grandpa was sad.
My father obviously didn't like her very much. When I told him the news today, the first thing he said was "So, did you guys buy sushi?".
Anyway, on a brighter note, I got a new cellphone recently and has been taking random photos like mad.
The christmas decorations downtown are so pret

Clamp Interview on TV ^_^~~!!!!
I watched a Clamp interview a few days ago on this Japanese Channel in Canada.
I think it was the first time Clamp agreed to do a public interview on TV. The TV crew went to their studio in Tokyo to shoot some footage. It was SUCH a beautiful studio!!! I always had the image of 4 desks pushed up together in one room with scrap paper and crap piled up high, but NO~~~~ it had a mini bar and everything!!! *_* They have a huge shelf with manga and information/reference books that they use for their mangas. Their actual work place is 4 adjoining rooms, each with a computer and light table and lots of storage space. Everything is designed
